June 23rd, 2014

Hey :(
So this week we found out that I'm getting transfered. This will be my last day in Laguna...I'm not too thrilled. I was hoping that I would be here for another transfer at least. That didn't happen. I'm going to be in Juarez again, in an area called Satelite 2. My new comp his name is Elder Aran. I go up to Juarez tomorrow. my new area is in the North Stake so I'll be right by the border. I really enjoyed my time I had with Elder Borgel, he probably is my favorite companion that I have had! We got a lot of done here in this area and I am sad to say goodbye. It`s been hard talking to my new friends we baptized while I was here and tell them how much I will miss them. I have truely become really close to my converts.

This last week we had a Family home evening with our converts and their less active mom who wants to come back to church. We shared the Mormon message by President Hinckley `The Women in our lives.` As I watched the video I thought so much about all of the women that have been apart of my life and how they have been such a great influence to me. I especially thought about you mom! I thought about how our relationship changed and how we became friends. I have missed you so much mom and I am so grateful for your amazing testimony and example to me. I love you and miss you!

I have been enjoying reading in the Book of Mormon so much. We have been reading as a mission and I have learned so much and I am so grateful for this amazing book. I have seen so many of the great examples of the Prophets and leaders of the Book of Mormon and how I can apply it to my life!

Hola familia,
Esta semana estuvo muy bueno estuvimos trabajando mucho por que la semana pasada estuvimos bien aburridos. Haha but yeah this week was a good one we finally got to leave the house and work. We found some  awesome investigators who are really excited to start listening to the lessons and go to church. One couple we taught went to church the next day which was pretty exciting.

This is the last week before transfers and I hope I don't get changed. I also hope my companion doesn't get changed. I feel that we are working very good together. It's been awesome working with Elder Borgel. He´s been one of my favorite companions. But if there are changes it's because one of us are needed somewhere else.

I've really been enjoying my time as well in this ward. We do the majority of the work but I really have enjoyed working with the less actives and investigators here. This has probably been one of my favorite areas in my mission.

Well I love you all and hope all is well.

Hey Fam and everyone!

So this week was a very short one. We stayed in the house all day every day pretty much because my companion ended up getting sick. It was nice though because I took advantage of it and read two of the three mission library books and also studied in depth my patriachal blessing. I learned a lot about the charity that I am to demonstrate to others and how it will affect people. I studied a lot about what the Apostle Paul had to say about Charity. I really enjoyed that day that I studied about Charity. I recieved a lot of personal revelation, and learned a lot about myself.

Hopefully this week we will have a lot of work!

Love you all!

 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
 Charity never faileth!!!

 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Hola como estan todos!
So this week was excellent. We found ourselves working harder than we ever have been we doubled our numbers and had so many amazing experiences! We felt extremely motivated so we went to work literally running all over the place with the goal to double our numbers.

We had such a cool experience with a sister in our ward. We had been trying to receive referrals from so many of the members. I felt that we should visit a certain sister in our ward and ask for a referral. We were going to go on Wednesday but we were not able to, so we went on Thursday. As we knocked on the door we heard from the other side la hermana shout ¨no way!¨ She opened the door and said she had been praying that we would pass by about 15 minutes ago, and here we were. We asked why she wanted us to pass by her house, she said that she had a referral for us. We told here that we felt inspired to go to her house and ask for someone to visit. What a testimony builder. I know that God answers prayers!

We have been working a ton with the less actives in our area as well and have been having much success with them. We have helped about 20-25 members return back to church. Our church attendance went from 104 to about 140 in three weeks. I have been enjoying working in this area so much!!

Love you all have and awesome week!
